Publisher: Onibatan Music. This is a work for Chinese Traditional Orchestra. It was the composer’s 2017 Guggenheim Fellowship project, and received its first performance in June 2019 by conductor Li-Pin Cheng and the Taipei Chinese Orchestra in Taipei, Taiwan. “nautilus symmetry 鹦鹉螺的对称” is the composer’s first large-scale work for Chinese Orchestra and as such, represents the culmination of several years’ worth of compositions for smaller ensembles of Chinese traditional instruments.
